I started my fitness journey back in college when I moved to Boston with the goal of losing weight. What began as a focus on aesthetics quickly shifted to a deep appreciation for the strength and empowerment I found in training. After a few years of bodybuilding, I sought out powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting classes, which led me to Invictus Boston and discovering CrossFit. It was here that I fell in love with Olympic weightlifting—a sport that blends speed, strength, and precision in a way that constantly challenges and inspires me. Now a USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW L1) coach and competitor, I’m passionate about helping others discover the transformative power of weightlifting. Whether it’s guiding someone through their first lift or helping them achieve what once seemed impossible, coaching allows me to share my love for the sport while fostering confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of strength training. I’m committed to continuing my education and empowering athletes to unlock their full potential both inside and outside the gym. Outside the gym I love hanging out with my dogs, baking, reading, watering plants and avoiding winter.
