Tia Sapienza
Coach
Born and raised just south of Boston, I grew up playing softball and after college I needed to find something else to fill my extra time! I found CrossFit in 2011, started coaching in 2012, been with Invictus Boston since 2020 and here we are. You won't find me at the gym without my dog Wilson nearby. Outside of coaching I work at VA Boston as part of the Rehab Team on the Spinal Cord Injury Unit, I enjoy baking, and have more recently started exploring the world of long course triathlon! If you need to know where to find the best vanilla latte in town, let me know!

Why Invictus Boston?
Favorite Workout?
I started coaching CrossFit in 2012. I have coached adult class since then, but over the last 4 years I have developed a program for teen and pre-teen girls that has now grown to 200 athletes. I spent a year as an NCAA Strength and Conditioning coach, working with softball, track & field, and cross country athletes. I also spend my spring seasons coaching high school softball.
The staff! Getting to work alongside a staff who is extremely knowledgeable, talented, and who value the desire to constantly improve and learn is what drew me to Invictus Boston.
Anything with double unders, box jumps, or cleans!
